Many clients are Chinese companies expanding into Indonesia, and candidates often have worked for companies in China. Chinese entity verification looks up the business registration of companies in mainland China through Tianyancha, so you can confirm before working together that a company exists and operates normally, and that the employers on a candidate's resume are real.
It looks up companies only, never individuals.
Where to use it
- Clients: client details → China entity, to link the client's parent or related company in China.
- Companies: company details → China entity, to link the company's Chinese parent.
- Candidates: candidate details → Profile, click Verify employer under a work history entry.
Link a Chinese company
- Click Verify Chinese entity or Verify employer, then search by the full Chinese company name, unified social credit code or legal representative.
- Find the right company in the results and click Link.
- The registration details are fetched and saved: operating status, legal representative, founding date, registered capital, unified social credit code, company type, industry, staff size, registered address, business scope and key personnel.
An operating status such as 存续 (active) is shown in green; statuses such as 注销 (deregistered) or 吊销 (revoked) are shown in red.
Risks, shareholders and lawsuits
After linking, you can check on demand:
- Risks: risk records compiled by Tianyancha, such as enforcement orders and court hearing notices.
- Shareholders: shareholder names, share percentages and subscribed capital.
- Lawsuits: the total number of cases and the latest 20.
Each result is saved with the date it was checked. Click Check again for the latest data.
Checking a candidate's employer
After verification, the work history entry shows the operating status and founding year. If the start date on the resume is earlier than the company's founding date, it is marked Joined before founding, and it is worth confirming with the candidate.
Credits
| Action | Resume credits |
|---|---|
| Search | Free |

Nothing is charged when Tianyancha finds no data. Before anything is charged, the button shows how many credits it uses and asks you to confirm.
Each company is stored once for your team: clients, companies and candidate employers all share it, and linking it again is free. Unlinking keeps the company record.
Notes
- Data comes from Tianyancha and covers companies registered in mainland China. Companies in Hong Kong, Taiwan and elsewhere are not covered.
